Arash Lahouti's 'Orange Days' has been selected to compete at 2018 Zurich Film Festival in Switzerland.
The film will be competing with 13 other cinematic productions which are first, second and third directorial works at the international Feature Film section of the festival.
The film is about a tough female farm contractor who proves to be able to compete with male competitors. She leads the group of female workers who work for her on a large harvest.
Her efforts remain futile while anyone involved in her story tries to fail her.
'Orange Days' is currently in competition at the 43rd edition of Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.
A number of Iranian superstars are among the cast members of the flick including Hediyeh Tehrani, Ali Mosaffa and Mehran Ahmadi.
Zurich Film Festival aims to offer audiences insight into the work of the most promising filmmakers from around the globe.
The 14th edition of the event is slated for September 27-October 7, 2018.
